Linda Rowan, NP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with expertise in treating adolescents with ADHD, depression, and anxiety. She provides a comprehensive, client-centered approach, integrating both traditional and holistic methods to create personalized treatment plans. Whether using medications or incorporating nutrition, vitamins, and lifestyle modifications, Linda tailors care to meet each client’s unique needs.
Linda earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Texas at Tyler and holds a Master of Lifestyle Health Sciences & Coaching from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Committed to lifelong learning, she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nurse Practice at Morningside University.
Passionate about exploring innovative and evidence-based treatments, Linda specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and alternative approaches, including sound frequency therapy and light therapy. She also assists families in navigating the educational system, offering support with 504 plan preparation and QB testing to ensure adolescents receive the accommodations they need to thrive.
Linda’s dedication to her field has earned her multiple awards and scholarships, including recognition from the National Society of Leadership & Success and the Lifestyle Sciences and Well Coaching Scholarship. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association, the Texas Nurses Association, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, staying engaged with the latest developments in mental health care.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys the peacefulness of country living, where she spends time with her horse and pony. She has a deep appreciation for nature and loves outdoor activities, whether it’s hiking on nearby trails, taking long walks in the park, or enjoying a picnic with friends and family. In the evenings, she often experiments in the kitchen, trying new recipes with fresh ingredients from her garden. Cooking and sharing meals with loved ones bring her immense joy and serve as a creative and grounding outlet.
With a deep commitment to helping young individuals build confidence and achieve success, Linda creates a supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel empowered. She believes in the importance of addressing both the mind and body in treatment, ensuring that every client has the tools they need to reach their full potential.
