Erin Jenkins, NP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing exceptional mental health services. With a deep-rooted passion for helping people in mental health crises, Erin is driven to make a positive impact on the lives of her clients.
Education has been a cornerstone of Erin’s journey towards becoming a highly skilled clinician. She obtained a Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from West Coast University. Prior to that, Erin earned a Masters of Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner, further expanding her expertise in healthcare.
Erin’s interest in mental health stems from personal experiences and a desire to care for others. Growing up in the Inland Empire of California, she witnessed the impact of conditions like dementia and advanced diabetes on her loved ones. As she helped care for her grandmothers, Erin’s fascination with medicine deepened, sparking her lifelong commitment to improving the well-being of individuals in need.
Erin describes herself as “honest, heartfelt, and compassionate.” These qualities form the foundation of her therapeutic approach, creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can openly share their struggles and receive the support they need. Erin’s unwavering commitment to her clients’ well-being ensures that they feel heard, valued, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Erin finds joy in various outdoor activities. Whether she’s exploring the open road on her motorcycle, honing her skills at the shooting range, hiking picturesque trails, or riding her mountain bike, Erin embraces the freedom and beauty of the natural world. Additionally, she nurtures her sense of adventure through travel, exploring new cultures and experiences.
