Harold Young holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), both from East Tennessee State University. He is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Part of Harold’s impetus for entering the field was seeing family members with mental health issues as well as others who couldn't get the help they needed. He is a great listener who is dedicated to helping his clients have an improved quality of life.
Harold is from Knoxville Tennessee. It is where he went to school and started his nursing career. He was a travel nurse for eight years and worked all over the country. He went back to school for his MSN and then moved to San Diego in 2021.
The approach he takes is to listen to his clients, figure out what is going on in their lives, and ascertain what he can do to help them improve their quality of life.
When he isn’t working, Harold enjoys watching and playing sports, hiking, reading, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.
