Karen Schwartzenburg, LPCC
Karen Schwartzenburg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Louisiana College, an Associate Degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University,

Schwartzenburg is a registered nurse licensed in Louisiana and 24 other states. She is a
Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana and Texas, and soon to be in California. She is a certified teacher and a certified school counselor in Texas.
Her services are rooted in the fields of mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction. She has experience in working with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, anger, poor self-esteem, grief and relationship issues.
In sessions, she joins her clients in a creative, therapeutic process tailored to meet their individual needs. She believes in a holistic approach and collaborates with her clients in enhancing their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
She is passionate about helping adults of all ages and backgrounds feel supported, confident, and comfortable as they journey toward becoming happier, healthier, and more successful. A strength-based approach supports individuals in their journey to embracing their authentic selves with love and compassion. It assists adults in focusing more on internal strengths and resourcefulness. This sets up a positive mindset that builds on best qualities and improves resilience.
