Natalie Georgeon, NP, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in Queens, New York, where her close relationship with her grandmother first sparked her interest in mental health. Observing her grandmother's struggles with anxiety—and later recognizing her own—helped Natalie understand the profound impact untreated mental health challenges can have on daily life. These early experiences inspired her to pursue a career where she could help others regain control over their worries and fears.
Natalie earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Florida International University before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at South University, where she became a Family Nurse Practitioner. She then received her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Miami, achieving dual certification as both a Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner.
Dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic, Natalie is committed to supporting her clients through their most challenging times. Her journey into psychiatric mental health began during her work as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where she encountered many patients struggling to access mental health care. Witnessing the barriers these individuals faced—long wait times, lack of resources, and uncertainty about where to start—motivated Natalie to become part of the solution. She believes that building a trusting, supportive relationship is essential to empowering clients to make positive changes in their lives.
For Natalie, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing how even small, positive changes can transform her clients' lives. Knowing that she plays a role in helping people during their most vulnerable moments keeps her passionate about her practice. She approaches each client with understanding and care, tailoring her methods to meet their unique needs.
When Natalie isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing on the beach, reading books, and exploring new destinations through travel. These activities help her maintain balance and continue to bring her best self to her work.
