Toni Cassidy is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a compassionate and dedicated approach to mental health care. Born and raised on an island in Alaska, Toni always aspired to explore life beyond her hometown, leading her to live in ten different states and gain invaluable perspectives from diverse cultures and communities. With over 15 years of healthcare experience across various settings in five different states, Toni offers a wealth of diverse understanding and cultural sensitivity, which enriches her practice and enhances her connection with clients.

Toni's educational journey reflects her passion for evidence-based health improvements and psychology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada Las Vegas after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa. She later pursued a Master of Science in Nursing at Spring Arbor University, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive mental health support to her clients.

Toni believes that interpersonal relationships are a powerful force in mental well-being. As an engaged listener, she takes pride in remembering the details that matter most to her clients. Her approach is rooted in empathy, responsibility, and a commitment to making the mental health journey as smooth and effective as possible. Toni understands that seeking support can be a challenging step, and she is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

Mental health awareness was an integral part of Toni's upbringing. Having experienced the impact of mental health challenges firsthand within her family—her maternal grandmother lost three children to suicide, and her maternal grandfather had schizophrenia—Toni developed a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate and proactive care. This personal connection fuels her passion for helping others navigate their own mental health journeys with resilience and hope.

Outside of her professional life, Toni is an affectionate, playful, and unstoppable individual who loves engaging in acrobatics and acro yoga, activities she has been dedicated to for years. She has also participated in solo and couples modeling across five states, including large-scale shoots with up to 20 photographers. Toni enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Carter, who shares her passion for modeling and always keeps her laughing. She is also very close to her sister Jessica and adores visiting her niece and nephew, cherishing every moment with them.

A committed advocate of a plant-based lifestyle, Toni has been dedicated to veganism for over a decade, a lifestyle embraced by most of her family. She takes pride in promoting health and wellness in all aspects of her life. With a global perspective, Toni’s mother moved from Alaska to Ecuador over a decade ago, further enriching the family’s cultural experiences.

Toni is passionate about meeting clients where they are, helping them relieve stress related to mental health challenges, and witnessing their growth and progress over time. She believes that small changes can have a significant impact and is committed to being a supportive and empowering presence in her clients’ lives.
