Christopher Jason Pope, LPC, is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from the University of West Alabama and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University.

Growing up in rural West Alabama, Christopher developed a deep appreciation for nature and adventure. His upbringing instilled in him invaluable social and relational skills, which he incorporates into his practice. Christopher's mother, a compassionate nurse, imparted to him a love for caring for others, shaping his empathetic approach to therapy.

Christopher's journey into counseling was inspired by his keen observation of human behavior and a personal connection to mental health challenges within his family. He believes in the transformative power of therapy, emphasizing authenticity, depth, and compassion in his client interactions.

Driven by curiosity and a passion for helping others, Christopher offers a safe and authentic space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts and emotions. His therapeutic approach combines various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Outside of work, Christopher enjoys exploring the great outdoors, attending live music events, and indulging in literature, TV shows, and films. He is a proud father of two and a former owner of a successful food truck business. With his arms adorned in tattoos, Christopher embodies authenticity and self-expression, values that resonate deeply in his personal and professional life.
