Fascinated by the mysteries of the human mind, Dr. Harrison was drawn to psychology early in life. Inspired by the tales of her favorite storyteller, Stephen King, she was captivated by his characters and their complex, often unsettling journeys. This early intrigue in the many layers of human behavior fueled her passion for understanding and supporting individuals in navigating their own stories.
Described by her clients as open, supportive, honest, and “real,” Dr. Harrison fosters a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore and process their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. She brings a natural teaching style to her sessions, ensuring that each person understands the methods and strategies being applied. Known for her sense of humor and engaging presence, Dr. Harrison offers a unique balance of insight, encouragement, and authenticity that resonates deeply with those she serves.
Dr. Harrison’s work centers on meeting clients where they are and helping them move toward their goals. Whether it’s challenging negative thoughts, exploring new coping strategies, or processing difficult emotions, her approach is non-judgmental and fully attuned to each individual’s journey. She is passionate about creating a space for clients of all backgrounds—including diverse ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities—to feel seen, supported, and understood.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Harrison enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and continuously learning new skills. She values opportunities for personal growth and finds that these activities keep her grounded and inspired. Driven by a deep respect for the human experience and a dedication to her clients’ well-being, Dr. Harrison is honored to be part of each individual’s journey toward greater self-understanding and resilience.
