Growing up in Chester County, PA, she was inspired by her intrigue with the human brain, personality types, and the factors that make each individual unique. Her own experiences in a complex family environment and navigating the social nuances of school life instilled in her a lifelong curiosity about the effects of environment and upbringing on self-esteem and development.

Dr. Stewart earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University and her Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Immaculata University. Her professional approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), where she helps clients identify and restructure irrational thoughts and cognitive errors. In addition to CBT, she integrates techniques from Gestalt, Existentialism, and Psychoanalysis in her individual work and applies Gottman Techniques when working with couples. Dr. Stewart is particularly skilled at fostering rational thinking and effective communication, offering a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to address their concerns and improve their relationships.

She thrives on helping individuals and couples better understand themselves, their relationships, and their environments. Her fascination with the psychology of the mind and her desire to support those who are struggling remain the driving forces behind her work.

Dr. Stewart is dedicated to helping her clients achieve meaningful progress and build a better understanding of themselves and their lives. She is a compassionate partner in their journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth.

When she isn’t working, Dr. Stewart enjoys a wide range of interests that reflect her chameleon-like adaptability to life’s many joys. She loves walk/running, decorating, and spending time with her two daughters, particularly attending and cheering them on at their competitions. A talented musician, Dr. Stewart enjoys playing the guitar, singing with local bands, and dancing to live music. She also finds comfort and happiness in spending time with animals, which has always been a source of joy for her.
