Jasmine Curtis is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep-rooted commitment to compassionate, holistic care. Growing up in Austin, Texas, within a family of healthcare professionals, Jasmine developed a fascination with the human mind and the profound impact of mental health on every area of life. Her path to psychiatric mental health was inspired by a desire to help others feel seen, heard, and supported—especially those who may feel alone in their struggles.
Jasmine received her Associates Degree in General Studies and Sciences from ACC, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Across the Lifespan from Texas State University. She is also ACCN certified as a PMHNP, bringing both a rigorous academic foundation and a compassionate approach to her practice.
At the heart of Jasmine’s work is her holistic philosophy. She integrates therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices, viewing each client as a unique individual rather than a diagnosis. Her critical care background reinforced her belief in addressing all aspects of a person’s life for true well-being. In her practice, Jasmine combines cognitive behavioral therapy with an approach that takes into account broader health factors—such as thyroid levels or vitamin D—that may affect mental wellness. She collaborates closely with clients, often coordinating with primary care providers to ensure a seamless and comprehensive approach to health.
Jasmine’s dedication to her field is fueled by the ever-growing need for empathy and genuine connection in today’s world. She recognizes the challenges that modern life, including technology, can pose to mental health, as it has connected us but also left some feeling more isolated. Jasmine sees her role as a stabilizing, supportive presence for those navigating these complexities, bringing understanding, insight, and encouragement to each client interaction.
Jasmine’s mission is to support each client in prioritizing mental health, fostering self-love, and building a balanced, fulfilling life. She is committed to guiding clients on a journey toward well-being with compassion, expertise, and a dedication to their personal goals.
Outside of work, Jasmine is drawn to creative pursuits, finding relaxation and joy in watercolor painting, crochet, sewing, and a range of arts and crafts. She loves making her home a calm, welcoming space and enjoys spending time outdoors whenever possible. Jasmine cherishes the moments she spends with her family and loved ones, recognizing these connections as a source of energy and grounding in her life.
