Tina Harper, NP, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Growing up in a military family, Tina lived all over the world, an experience that helped her understand the universal need for mental health support, no matter where you go. Her journey into the field of mental health began with a desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals facing unique challenges.
Tina holds dual certifications as both an adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, which enables her to treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Addictions. Tina is dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations with a deep understanding of each individual's personal history, life experiences, and concerns. She approaches each patient with warmth, patience, and empathy, fostering a sense of comfort and trust. Her goal is to help clients navigate their concerns, empower them to identify solutions, and enhance their quality of life.
Known for her compassionate and driven nature, Tina strives to create a nurturing and supportive therapeutic environment. She believes in honest communication with her clients and is always available to listen to their needs and concerns. Tina utilizes integrative approaches tailored to meet each client’s desired outcomes. She is well-versed in therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and is also skilled in marriage counseling, ensuring that her clients have access to a wide variety of tools and techniques.
Tina views each of her clients like family, and she is dedicated to doing everything she can to support them on their path toward mental and emotional well-being. Her enthusiasm, combined with her extensive experience, allows her to foster meaningful change in the lives of those she works with.
When not working, Tina is an avid traveler who loves exploring new places and learning about different cultures. This passion for travel is a reflection of her upbringing in various parts of the world and her enduring curiosity about the diverse ways people live and experience life.
