Victoria Agudah, NP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. With a compassionate, attentive, and non-judgmental approach, Victoria is deeply committed to supporting individuals on their mental health journey. She understands that seeking help can be a significant and courageous step, and she strives to create a safe, trusting environment where clients feel empowered and heard.
Victoria's educational background is extensive, reflecting her dedication to providing comprehensive and holistic care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas. She further pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Adult and Geriatric Primary Care from Walden University, followed by a Post-Master's certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
Her passion for mental health stems from her personal experiences with mental illness within her own family. Growing up in a small town known for its hospitals and schools run by Catholic nuns, Victoria was inspired from a young age to help others. As a child, she dreamt of becoming a nun to serve in hospitals or schools, inspired by the nuns' dedication and compassion. However, due to political crisis and war, her family was forced to migrate to Europe and later America. The trauma and separation deeply impacted her family, and she witnessed firsthand how the stigma surrounding mental health prevented individuals from seeking the support they needed. These experiences fueled her passion for advocacy and her commitment to breaking down barriers to mental health care.
Victoria takes a holistic approach to treatment, addressing the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of her clients. She believes in a collaborative partnership, working alongside clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs. Whether through therapy, medication management, or a combination of both, Victoria ensures that all recommendations are rooted in evidence-based practices.
What keeps Victoria dedicated to her work is the profound sense of fulfillment she experiences from witnessing the transformation in her clients. She finds joy in building trusting relationships and being a source of unwavering support and advocacy for those in need.
Outside of her professional life, Victoria enjoys cooking, traveling, and decorating. These activities provide her with a sense of balance and fulfillment, allowing her to recharge and bring renewed energy to her practice.
Victoria's mission is to provide compassionate, stigma-free mental health care, empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being and live fulfilling lives.
