Wendy Williams, NP, is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. Growing up in a family of healthcare professionals in the southern part of Nigeria, Wendy developed a deep-rooted passion for the medical field early on. Her mother, a Registered Nurse who worked at the state hospital and served their local community, played a pivotal role in her journey. Their home was often like an outpatient clinic, where Wendy would assist with wound care and observe her mother’s compassionate dedication to her patients. Surrounded by medical and psychiatric books, she became fascinated by the mind’s complexity, finding that mental health often intertwines with physical well-being.

Wendy's professional education journey began at Medical Professional Training in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant qualification. She then continued to New England School of Practical Nursing, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She furthered her studies at Trinity Valley Community College in Kaufman, Texas, to become a Registered Nurse. Wendy went on to earn both her Bachelor of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington.

Wendy is not only a dedicated clinician but also someone who values honesty, vulnerability, and curiosity in her therapeutic relationships. She encourages clients to explore new methods, even those outside of their comfort zone. Her approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, tailored to each client’s comfort level, and a willingness to try overlooked or unconventional therapies. Wendy believes that patience and self-compassion are key to personal growth, advocating that each day presents a new opportunity to become a better version of oneself.

When she is not working, Wendy enjoys spending quality time with her family, relaxing at the beach, or indulging in a shopping trip. She describes herself as hardworking, focused, and compassionate, yet she makes time to enjoy life beyond her profession.
