Danielle Hammons is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care. Born in a small town in Northwest Florida and raised in Miami, she was profoundly impacted by witnessing the struggles of family members and close friends with mental health challenges. Seeing the stigma surrounding mental illness inspired her to pursue a career where she could provide understanding, support, and empowerment to those in need.
Danielle earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health from Walden University. She is ANCC certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Across the Lifespan, equipping her with the expertise to address a broad spectrum of mental health needs..
Danielle's approach to care is holistic and collaborative, recognizing that true healing extends beyond symptom management. She believes that mental health is not just about the absence of illness but about helping individuals lead meaningful, balanced lives despite their challenges. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly share their struggles, knowing they will be met with empathy, insight, and evidence-based care. She understands that each individual is unique, and her role is not to provide one-size-fits-all solutions but to walk alongside her clients, helping them navigate their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Her passion for mental health was shaped early in her nursing career when she noticed how emotional turmoil—anxiety, trauma, and fear—was often intertwined with physical ailments. Recognizing the deep connection between mind and body, she pursued advanced education in psychiatry to offer comprehensive, integrative mental health care.
Danielle is known for being compassionate, intuitive, and empowering. She listens with patience, collaborates with honesty, and encourages her clients to become active participants in their healing process. Whether supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, her goal is to provide unwavering support, practical tools, and a sense of hope.
For Danielle, mental health care is not just a career—it is a calling. She remains dedicated to fostering change, reducing stigma, and helping individuals rediscover joy, resilience, and purpose in their lives.
Outside of her professional life, Danielle finds joy in spending quality time with her children and beloved fur babies. She is actively involved in community outreach and church services, reflecting her deep commitment to serving others both professionally and personally.
