Gardine Jacques received both her Doctorate In Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and her Post-Master Certificates from Valdosta State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida International University.
She was initially attracted to the medical field by the ability to provide mental and physical care to clients and help them achieve health and wellness. Seeing the improvement in her clients’ health and their gratitude are daily motivations for her.
Jacques grew up in South Florida. Her parents were immigrants who came to the United States for better opportunities. She noticed the disparities in health care for immigrants, and this inspired her to become a health care provider so she could serve the underserved.
