Dr. Kelly Rabenstein, PsyD, is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist who combines her deep empathy and energy to guide clients toward personal growth and emotional success. With a BA in Art History and an Elementary Education Certification from Chatham College, a Master’s in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and both a Pre-Doctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Rabenstein brings a comprehensive academic foundation to her practice. She earned her PsyD in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rabenstein has been drawn to the opportunity to connect deeply with individuals and witness their transformation. Her approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with psychodynamic and feminist perspectives, which allows her to address each client’s unique history and the impact of societal factors on personal experiences. She believes that our individual journeys are shaped not only by where we have been but also by the broader world we live in.

Dr. Rabenstein sees herself as an active partner in her clients' journeys, offering a supportive and loving presence. Having experienced many surgeries during her own youth, she developed a profound sense of empathy and an understanding of what it feels like to be different. This experience shaped her values, emphasizing love and connection as central to her life and her work.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Rabenstein is the author of "Psychological Secrets for Emotional Success" and maintains a regular presence in the media, sharing insights to help people achieve emotional well-being. Outside of her professional life, she finds balance through her love of being active, reading, exploring nature, and writing.
