Ms. Alexis Goolkasian is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.

Ms. Goolkasian attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where she earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

She is passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds and recognizes their strength, resiliency, and positive qualities. Using a collaborative strength-based approach to counseling, Alexis supports and guides those she works with on their journey towards improving mental health and well-being and embracing their authentic selves with love and compassion. She recognizes every individual’s unique story and tailors the treatment process to incorporate each client’s personal values, experiences, and worldview. Alexis also incorporates a variety of treatment modalities including expressive arts therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, among others.

Alexis is the proud and loving mother of Nugget, a spunky, 11-year-old, long-haired Chihuahua. In her free time, she seizes opportunities to be in the sun and on the water paddle boarding and kayaking. She loves spending time with her family and friends, playing trivia, listening to 90s hip-hop, and creating music of her own, and is passionate about fighting for and helping to create social change.
