Moramed Desroches, NP

Moramed Desroches, NP is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He grew up in Haiti, where his early experiences fostered a deep sense of compassion and a desire to help others.

Moramed earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ana G. Méndez University System, his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from St. Thomas University, and his Doctor of Medicine from Windsor University School of Medicine. He holds a PMHNP Board Certification (Across the Lifespan) from the ANCC and is a Certified Surgical Assistant through the NSAA and ABSA.

Moramed believes that the therapeutic relationship requires nurturing, trust, time, and effort. He provides clients with insights into their challenges, empowering them to devise solutions and enhance their interpersonal relationships. Moramed uses humor to ease tension during sessions and values feedback from his clients. Initially drawn to psychiatric mental health through his experiences in the US healthcare system, Moramed saw the profound impact of mental health on overall well-being. This inspired him to further his education and specialize in psychiatric mental health nursing. Fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, he is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and personalized care.
