Ms. Rebeca Argiro is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Wisconsin and Florida with over 9 years of experience working in the helping fields.

Ms. Argiro received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay where she participated in Division 1 cross country and received her Master of Science degree from Concordia University Wisconsin. Rebeca completed her clinical supervision with the Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation under the Department of Workforce Development.

In the past, Ms. Argiro has worked for the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and assisted job seekers with a spectrum of disabilities reaching their professional potentials. She also worked with her county in the crisis services unit addressing individuals with severe drug and alcohol addictions and suicidality.

Rebeca has experience as a high school special education teacher working with Emotional Behavioral Disorders and has worked with families and children from the foster care system and those with adoption dynamics. She also has prior military experience and works with post 9/11 veterans and their families in a volunteer capacity to address deployment adjustment, PTSD, TBI, and family dynamics.

Ms. Argiro’s counseling style is empathetic and client-centered. Her approach is to listen to the client tell their story and help identify issues that can be worked on through identifiable goals. She will work with you to identify issues through motivational interviewing, overcome negative thought patterns and then move on to solution-focused therapy. She believes everyone can benefit from counseling and therapy at one point in their life and if that time is now for you, she looks forward to helping you create goals and overcoming barriers.

Rebeca enjoys the great outdoors with her two daughters, aged 7 and 12. Together they like to have a campfire and listen to the fire crackle under the stars on their many camping adventures. She enjoys traveling to new locations and revisiting some of her favorite spots in Wisconsin, especially up north and Door County.
