Dr. Rosemarie Anderson, MD is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with a holistic and patient-centered approach to care. 

She earned her B.A. in Biology from Johns Hopkins University and continued her medical journey at the University of Maryland at Baltimore where she obtained her M.D. She further specialized with a four-year psychiatric residency, joining a prestigious program at the University of Maryland Hospital and Sheppard Pratt Hospital, the latter consistently ranked among the nation’s top psychiatric hospitals.

Driven by her fascination with the interplay of body, soul, and mind, Dr. Anderson was naturally drawn to psychiatry. Her core values of empathy, patience, and approachability guide every patient interaction. She endeavors to help patients refocus on their future, providing collaborative and supportive strategies to realize their goals for change. 

Outside her practice, Dr. Anderson delights in reading biographies, enjoying classical music, and spending cherished moments outdoors with family and friends. Her early love for stories, combined with genuine empathy, directed her towards a career where she could positively impact people’s lives. Each patient’s unique story reinforces her commitment to the transformative power of psychiatric care.
