Dr. Tenn-Chamberlain’s academic journey is both extensive and impressive. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology from Ball State University, Indiana, where she also completed her Master of Arts in School Psychology. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Canisius College. These academic achievements reflect her commitment to understanding the mind and her dedication to helping others achieve mental well-being.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Tenn-Chamberlain’s background is as diverse as it is inspiring. As the eldest of three siblings and an aunt to four, she has always been a guiding force in her family. Growing up, she played both soccer and basketball. Sport significantly shaped her life by instilling values of teamwork, time management, hard work, and goal setting. Her athletic talents earned her a full scholarship to Canisius College, where she played collegiate basketball. Although her athletic career was slightly derailed by an Achilles injury, this challenge helped her learn what it means to overcome adversity. It also led her to discover her profound passion for psychology and her desire to help others.
