Aqueelah Wheatley received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She is working on her Social Psychology PhD at Walden University and has devoted her undergraduate and graduate degrees to servicing surrounding communities in counseling and social service capacities.
Aqueelah is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with formal training in crisis management and trauma-informed care practices. She also has experience working with evidence-based (DBT/CBT) techniques and various systemic treatment modalities.
Her passion is to be a change agent in the world. She has a love for the field and compassion and respect for those she serves.
Aqueelah provides a safe, strength-based, non-judgemental environment, which fosters and empowers change through thought-provoking conversation and a solution-focused agenda. She is known for her professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to embrace change.
When she isn’t working, Aqueelah enjoys exploring new environments and testing her capacities through new and adventurous experiences.
